Daily reminders to help with journal writing
Why keep a daily journal?
Keeping a journal is one of the best ways to preserve your family history. Each day a topic will be posted to help you with your daily journal writing. Your entries can be as short or as long as you wish, just as long as you're writing! Your children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will thank you for it.
You are also welcome to leave comments describing your own experiences if you would like.
My parents, who are both deceased, did not keep journals, however, I do have all the letters they wrote to each other while dating and while my father was in the Navy. After reading those letters, I was able to gain a better understanding of their relationship and see what they were like as young adults. I learned that my mother really did understand what my life was like as a teenager.
