Journal entry 40--Traditions

Describe a tradition your family shared while growing up. Do you still hold this tradition yourself or with your family?

Every big holiday my family would go to my grandparent's house for a huge family dinner. All the family would be there--cousins, aunts, uncles, everyone. I think it was hard on my mother because she wanted to stay home and rest but I loved going. I loved playing with my cousin and comparing Christmas gifts, running around my grandparent's backyard chasing their dogs and playing games with people. Since then my grandparents have both passed away and their house has been sold but I'll always have that memory.
