Journal entry 69--Third grade

Describe an experience from third grade.

When I was in third grade I was chosen to play with the children's' song flute orchestra. Only I didn't find out I was chosen until two days before the performance. My teacher called me up to her desk to ask me why I wasn't at practice. I asked, "What practice?" She then realized that she had forgotten to tell me I was in the orchestra. I had to learn "Whistle while you work" very quickly.
