Journal entry 12--Birthdays

Describe a memorable birthday. What made it so memorable?

I remember my 7 year old birthday party. It was at our neighborhood park and my sister dressed up like a clown and performed magic tricks. I don't remember if her tricks were any good, however I know it meant a lot to me that she took time to do that. I also remember during that party a boy on a bike collided with a car in front of the park. The boy was okay but we were all shaken up seeing that car hit the child.
There's not much more I remember about that birthday other than feelings. Feelings of pure joy and carefree happiness running around with my friends. I miss being able to get away with that!
